I was able to kill the processes with the Task Manager, and plan to run Malwarebytes after she's through using the computer. Because it did not disable KB & mouse, we could start Task Manager & close the browser. Randon BSOD's while I was surfing the net using Google Chrome. So I'd wager the driver that's crashing is very likely the GPU driver, unless you have some other device plugged in the bus.So I recommend downloading a new GPU driver (whatever I also have tried disabling the wireless adapter.

The fake malware BSOD Tech support scammers had another trick up their sleeve and in a case first reported in the BleepingComputer forums, essentially built a piece of malware to create Emailed Asus, and they said to install windows7 64bit again, which i did, but still has problems. Without a doubt many people will be distressed and fall for this scam. This bugcheck usually occurs when a driver uses an incorrect memory address. So what exactly happens if you do call that toll-free number? My wife has encountered it at least 3 times in the last few days.
