Anyway newer nVidia architecture seems to resist this better than previous. noskap07-06-2012, 07:45 PMQuick update. Graphics drivers crashed. Setting the pagefile to 512mb improved the situation as the time of the hickup was reduced and setting it to 1024mb fixed it completely.

It's an alternative, and a pretty horrible one at that. If a graphics driver crash occurs, the black screen will become a blue screen instead (your system will reboot, sorry about that!)
