Let's disable the 3D Vision plugins provided by Nvidia as browser enhancements, which allow you to watch 3D content with the right hardware. I cannot uninstall it now because it's not in my add or remove programs. I dumped my PC 2-1/2 years ago and purchased an Apple iMac, except for a few "early-on crashes" due to my learning curve, it's humming right along, like a fine-tuned car! It is very unfortunate that Nvidia screwed up so badly on this one, but it can sometimes happen. You would do well to check on their health every now and then....

Finally, I would check and recheck your PC and ALL of your connections. And don't tell me it's not doable, it's doable, just requires far more effort in making the right environment and much stricter runtime restrictions. Windows, due to it's already inherent instability, will exhibit symptoms of capacitor plague before any other OS, but in the end, all will fail. Try replacing it with a higher power unit and see if things become more stable.

Reply Paul Hays January 17, 2013 at 4:56 pm IMHO, the first bullet should be two - "Bad Memory Or Motherboard" goes two distinct directions. You'd maybe notice a screen-freeze and BSOD. Scratch that, it just blue screened after only playing for 10min.
