When I reboot, sometimes it asks me for a boot disk... To my suprise I noticed that if I turn off my Focusrite Firewire Audio Interface before booting up the computer it starts up fine. I'm starting to get worried that I'm doing progressive damage... I have not crashed once since doing so. I'll de-mount, the screen will freeze a second, then I'll get the BSOD. If your system has small computer system interface (SCSI) adapters, contact the adapter manufacturer to obtain updated Windows 2000 drivers. Still one last life of pain.
The time now is 10:20. More recently normal crashes and lock ups (sometimes several a day, sometimes one or none a day). Frequently I'll get a BSOD 116 (In the past it would simply mimimize and say the driver stopped responding and minimize, however now I just get a 116.) The only thing If you wish to be unblocked, you must agree that you will take immediate steps to rectify this issue.

With the hardware removed and the software removed if the issue continues then you know you probably have some other conflict or driver/hardware issue going on. I noticed that when I switch to Leopard sometimes I get a weird colored line on some windows. I use the program to analyze the crash dumps and is always the same ctaud2k.sys, which is creative audio driver.
I get the BSOD from the Creative driver at least once a day.
Google query: OSBASE PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREANow, I have an app for iPad called Duet Display (makes my device a secondary screen). I'm relatively sure that this is a driver issue which Creative needs to fix. Software UpdateYahoo! I've tried all the drivers currently available on the creative site (including the beta one).

I've been considering a f9 recovery but need to get an external drive first... So here's my issue: I own Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold. I started elevating it so that the vents are at about a 25degree angle upward... Further, I don't think I've ever seen this BSOD if I'm running with software sound. Other benefits of registering an account are subscribing to topics and forums, creating a blog, and having no ads shown anywhere on the site.
I don't know if this is Turbine's problem or Creative's problem but it's a showstopper for me.
