I started getting BSOD two weeks ago. It says that it may take several hours on larger drives, and mine is 1TB. Can you predict a number that is "randomly" chosen by a person better than chance? The problem has been solved. Run the built-in diagnostics to see if the drive passes (from BIOS I believe). I've used the debugger tool and looked at the dump files and it says pci.sys is the problem so I updated my laptops drivers and it's still having issues.

I really wonder if these anti-software are really worth our attention and money, if they are really not protecting.
