Troubleshooting Graphics Card
A carefully coded driver will (hopefully) not do this, but there's always a chance for bugs. Enabling V-sync is also a good way to avoid this. If so, did you remember to install the motherboard chipset drivers? Upgrade to prevent BSOD.
