Aug10,2016 •#8 I found two options to solve the issue. When I try to do so, it just shortens the window and moves it down so that part of the titlebar is still onscreen. Windows 8's touch-optimized "Snap" feature is gone for now and is being merged with the desktop Snap feature so the Windows interface is more consistent. Snap, which was introduced in Windows 7, lets users quickly pin applications or windows to one side or corner of the screen, making it easy, for example, to view two applications
Bob I can't believe Google features this inaccurate, outdated, non-functioning ‘fix' as its prime result. Its really a shame that we're going backwards with windows.. I personally like this feature so I probably won't be turning it off, but it's nice to know it's configurable. In that case, you can disable Snap Assist in the Windows 10 Settings. This is the fundamental idea behind Snap Assist in Windows 10. And why do you assume that "a majority find useful" this bizarre artifact?
This is a completely non-intuitive action that is completely superfluous and difficult to disable. Not the answer you're looking for? He's as at home using the Linux terminal as he is digging into the Windows registry. Jimmy Dee Agree with the others… what a stupid feature.
This must be the result of the latest update...they did do some major changes apparently. Press Win+R key combination to launch Run dialog box then type regedit and press Enter.
