Please run these two tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem. * If you are overclocking anything reset to default before running these tests. Sadly microsoft made doing that almost impossible now in Windows 8 and Windows 10. It gives no results. Bsod Viewer
also in the night while id been running all these tests, when i was in windows, everything was perfect - not a single BSOD or freeze. It has done this 1 time(s). I'm relieved that it wasn't a hardware issue after all, but I'm annoyed that I went to all this trouble only to find out that it's the controller! i dont want to hope too early that it was the thermal paste covering parts of the cpu chip (some mini chips poking out of the main chip, see pic below),
