What are you doing wrong? I've ran Fractal renders for weeks at this setting. It can handle 'modern' tasks, but not nearly as quickly as my 'new' i5 machine. Other then that, would love your ideas on things that might be fun to try or perhaps recommended uses or things to try in general.

Get 2, 1gb is simply not enough. The Cryengine is probably going to be the standard for all games to come so if you play Crysis you're fine for the future. In my case, gobs of memory aren't necessary, but I have seen some who can use all they can get.
